Strong habits build strong character. Success comes as a result of habitually doing things that need to be done. Achievement comes from the habit of strong character.”

  • Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become YOUR WORDS.
  • Keep your words positive because your words become YOUR BEHAVIOR.
  • Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes YOUR HABITS.
  • Keep your habits positive because your habits become YOUR VALUES.
  • Keep your values positive because your values become YOUR DESTINY.

“Your Habits Will Speak to You

I am your constant companion. I am your greatest helper or your heaviest burden. I will push you onward or drag you down to failure. I am completely at your disposal. Half the things you do you might just as well turn over to me and I will be able to do them quickly and correctly.”

“I am easily managed–you must merely be firm with me. Show me exactly how you want something done after a few lessons, I will do it automatically. I am not a machine, though I work with all the precision of a machine, plus the intelligence of a man.

You may run me for profit or run me for ruin–it makes no difference to me. Take me, train me, be firm with me, and I will place the world at your feet. Be negligent with me and I will destroy you.   “Who am I? Your habits.”

1) Emotional Potential: Emotionally strong people honor their relationships while at the same time guarding against letting others control them, especially in difficult relationships.

2) Character Choices Based on Good Values: Every day you either grow your good character or shrink it. When you choose to do the right thing based on positive value, your character expands. With each right choice, you develop the strength to make more difficult right choices.

3) You Don't Fail--You Only Get Results: The fear of failure is what keeps most people from attempting to succeed. The very word "failure" carries with it a sense of devastation and frustration from nonproductive wasted effort. The truth is that no effort is really nonproductive or wasted because you can learn something from every experience.

4) Everything That Happens Has Value and Purpose: Winners in life don't sit around and cry when things go wrong, but they decide to change things. They have the ability to see difficult situations as opportunities in deguise.
