Your Work Network is Your Growth Lifeline.
1) No one succeeds by himself or herself--no one. Behind every success story is a group of people working to make it happen. Behind every successful person is an equally successful person. The term "self-made is used commonly. No one is self-made.
2) Your work network model should be an interconnected group of people with three things in common. They play an active professional role in helping you grow and assisting you toward reaching your greatest potential.
3) They are professionals, and they are the best at what they do. They are willing to help you when you need help at any endeavor. This is your "Work Network."
4) These people give you advice, guidance, information, intelligence, knowledge, mentoring, strategy, counsel, connections, leads, leverage, and professional labor. This "Work Network" is your personal and strategic growth-building association with others.
5) You need people, the right people, to help you get what you want. If you desire to achieve great success in life, you must bring together a powerful group of people, a dream team, who can all play the right roles at the right time. If you plan to achieve your financial dreams, your dream team is crucial to that end.
6) Always surround yourself with great people because you mean to do great things in life. Plan to duplicate your success many times over time. To achieve that, you must actively, purposefully, and intentionally build powerful working relationships that will be long-term.
7) Create your own circle of influence. When you do this, you're actually pulling people toward you and your goals. You're creating a true force of nature. It's called a centripetal force. The word centripetal means "center-seeking" and refers to any force that directs objects toward the center of a circle.
8) Make sure you intentionally attract the right people into your circle of influence, and pull them close around you. Visualize yourself surrounded by great people and start running in the right circles to attract and keep them.
